Our Aquatic Environment Program is a strategically focused suite of scientific and consultative activities which aims to:
- understand our impact on the aquatic environment so that we can address high priority environmental issues
- tackle issues such as environmental flows, fish migration, threatened species, waterway health and interactions with other users
- achieve community-accepted and environmentally sustainable outcomes
- ensure sustainable management of the waterways that are affected by our operations.
The contents of the program vary each year according to priorities, but its major components broadly include:

- specific project work.
